Pakistan is a progressive country; we have been adapting towards modern technologies, gadgets, and contemporary ways. Likewise, Pakistan has shifted its outlook towards education, from traditional to modern subjects. With the strong foundations of our culture and roots, we have been moving towards the National Curriculum of Pakistan (NCP), designed under the National Curriculum Framework (NCF). Leading from the front, Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC) launches the Teacher Training Workshops 2025 across Punjab. This blog is for mentors who are interested in the professional teacher development programme.
National Curriculum of Pakistan
The National Curriculum of Pakistan is a contemporary curriculum fulfilling the current needs of education across the provinces. This national curriculum is designed based on the robust National Curriculum Framework (NCF). The NFC addresses the individual needs of education from early childhood education to the higher secondary education level.
In accordance with the national curriculum policy, the new curriculum has been launched for the higher secondary classes (Intermediate part I & part II, also known as classes 11 & 12) across the educational boards of Punjab.
The main objective, Pakistan as a nation aims to achieve is to align the levels of education to the international standards. These efforts will help our students to stay highly relevant in tomorrow’s competitive world of education, skills, and knowledge.
New Curriculum Brings New Challenges
By the time you are reading this article, the new curriculum will have been launched for the intermediate classes in Punjab, Pakistan. This updated curriculum is entirely a serious upgrade, mastering the quantity and quality of information and knowledge with a potential for modern skills development, across the fields of intermediate groups. The educational groups of intermediate are none other than the following.
