Welcome to the World of Robots
If you are a robotics enthusiast and studying at PGC, the Robotics Exhibition 2024 was an event to explore for you! Our students employed their wildest imaginations and showcased their innovation through customized projects, highlighting novel robotics applications addressing diverse aspects of life.
The Robotics Exhibition is always a creative event with stimulating categories competing directly. The teams at the event this year also had a massive chance to win exciting prizes. The following lists the Robotics Exhibition 2024 categories.
Competitions at PGC Robotics Exhibition 2024
Sumo Wrestling
It was a chance to experience the popular spectator sport of Japan – ‘Sumo’ in Pakistan. Have you ever seen or participated in this globally recognized wrestling game? Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC) provided you with an opportunity to enjoy sumo wrestling in college settings.
That too among the robotic rivals. Students brought their robots to fight in sumo wrestling. Can you guess which Sumo Robot won this competition?
Project Exhibition
In this category, students showcased their engineered robots, which were in the models of innovation in design, programming, application and effectiveness simultaneously.
It was one of the best times of the year to see how far young brains can go and what possibilities there are for Pakistan’s prosperous future. Are you excited about who took the most dynamic project to the Robotics Exhibition 2024?
Robo Soccer
Are you a soccer fan in any case? If so, then you must know that soccer and football are technically the same games. Soccer is a British term used before the globalisation of football.
Anyway, whether you play soccer or football or not, you must have enjoyed Robo Soccer at the Robotics Exhibition 2024 held at Punjab Group of Colleges on July 03, 24. Our students took their robots to participate in the soccer match between robotic teams. Imagine the Ronaldo and Messi of Robotics in 2024!
Mystery Box Challange
Are you someone who can build up from starch? Our students took part in the Mystery Box competition. It has been a constant part of the Robotics Exhibition since its inception. In this competition, students were given a box with equipment to build their dream robot from it. The brilliant minds took the power of imagination and utilised their vision to win the mystery box competition. What a treat to eyes it was!
Maze Solver Challange
Have you ever played Pac-Man? It is a classic example of Maze Solving. A maze is a type of puzzle with patterns and paths to find out the way. The Robotics Exhibitions 2024 had a super exciting Maze Solver robotics competition.
In this competition, robots were playing Pac-Man and finding their way out! It was super exciting to experience the unfolding of the future as we saw the accuracy and precision robots can show while following paths.
