On 23rd March 1940, the All-India Muslim League gathered at Manto Park,  also known as Iqbal Park, in Lahore. They presented the Lahore Resolution. This later became Pakistan Resolution, which eventually became the basis for the formation of Pakistan.

After seven years of struggle, Pakistan came into existence 14th August 1947. Also known as Independence Day.
