It has been one of the most anticipated events of the year among the PGC family. Are You Ready for the World of Robotics?
The PGC Robotics Competition and Exhibition is one of the major robotics competitions in Pakistan. Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC) have always been a huge supporter of quality education in the country. A quality education is incomplete without skills development. Therefore, we also support innovation, intelligence, and adaptation to the latest technology.
For the same reason, from the high-end on-campus facilities like tech-equipped classrooms, book-stocked libraries, and well-structured labs and laboratories, Punjab Colleges also follow the latest teaching methodologies like STEAM education. In which our students get formal education in the relevant fields with Student Learning-Outcome-based education practices.
In the same context, we have been arranging the robotics competition and exhibition every year. The entire event is an innovation show for the students and an opportunity to learn for the participants, in which the best teams and players compete against each other for the big win. PGC Robotics Competition and Exhibition 2025
The PGC students will be participating in the following modules in the PGC Robotics Competition and Exhibition 2025.
- Sumo Wrestling Robot
- Mystery Box
- Robo Soccer
- Self-Driving Car
- Project Exhibition
Sumo Wrestling Robot
The Sumo Wrestling Robot excites the arena with the student-made sumo robots. These Sumo robots are intelligently crafted to compete against the opponent to push them out of the Sumo wrestling ring.
This competition is an epic tale of creativity, engineering, strategy, power, and agility in the PGC robotics competition and exhibition 2025. The participating students must abide by the rules and decorum to get through the qualification and competition with sportsmanlike spirit.
Let’s see which Sumo Wrestling Robot is going to win against all the competitor Sumos. The last standing sumo would be the undoubted king of the ring.
Mystery Box Competition
The robotics competition and exhibition at Punjab Group of Colleges is incomplete without solving the conundrum of the mystery box. This year, the students will come up with the level of their creativity, intelligence, and technological awareness.
This is because the mystery box competition will be providing an unseen box with secret ingredients of robotics. It would be super exciting to know how students utilise their creative and technical skills in the limited time to design the best model or project from the surprises inside the box, we all know—as the mystery box of the PGC Robotics event.
Robo Soccer
The next part of the PGC Robotics Competition and Exhibition 2025 is the RC Robo Soccer. As the name suggests, this competition will make teams compete against each other. Another test of agility, teamwork, and innovation to score the goal against the other robotics competitor in this tech-driven soccer in the soccer field.
Self-Driving Car
This self-driving car competition can also be called the obstacle avoidance car. Following the guidelines, students will design a self-driven car to move through the designated arena. Let’s see how the technical elements, like sensors and free wheels, will reach the destination.
Robotics Project Exhibition
One of the key elements of the PGC Robotics event is the independent robotics project exhibition. This year, the PGC Robotics Competition and Exhibition 2025 comes up with some guidelines for students from each campus to participate. In the event, the eligible students will be presenting the creative robotic solutions with their fellow students. They will get engagement, appreciation and feedback from judges and spectators.
