| Teacher Training (May 3-30, 2012)
INTRODUCTION
This time the whole training schedule was based on need-based and problem-focused principle. All the training sessions were chalked out incorporating the inputs, pertaining to teaching techniques and subject-specific, provided by the teachers of 38 Campuses, in response to the Need Assessment Questionnaire.
AREAS OF TRAINING
It was 3 day training program at each training centre. The training sessions were conducted daily, simultaneously in two groups:
- Teaching Techniques
- Subject-Specific Orientation
The following topics were discussed in the Teaching Technique session named You Asked for It. It was a kind of Reflective Dialogue: an open and congenial exchange of ideas by the participants. They shared their intimate experiences and theoretical knowledge t(hopefully had acquired by reading literature on teacher training).

- How to stay in sync with the college administration

- Movies as an effective medium of instruction
In the Subject-Specific Orientation sessions, subject experts conducted/shared subject related typical teaching techniques. Dr Javed Iqbal personally supervised all these sessions. Special stress was given to ‘How to conduct Laboratory experiments’ for science subjects.

MASTER TRAINERS ORIENTATION
Master trainers orientation was held in Lahore on April 25, 2012 in which Master Trainers from Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot, Rawalpindi and Multan participated.
