About PCS Multan

Multan, the abode of saints and shrines, is one of the oldest cities of the sub-continent enjoying a rich legacy of scholastic excellence, textiles and crafts. The city's expanding needs required a center of excellence offering scientific education. The Punjab College of Science (PCS) met the need by establishing a Multan Campus.

PCS Multan offers ICS, F.Sc, programmes and select certification courses. The courses for all of these programs are designed in such a way as to prepare students to come to grip with rapid developments in technology. For the ICS and F.Sc programms, the College is affiliated with B.I.S.E. Multan.

The College has a number of spacious fully air-conditioned classrooms, which are  attractively furnished and equipped with public address systems and multi-media to expedite the teaching-learning process. Students have access to the most modern and well- equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Labs for their practical examinations training. Highly skilled and dedicated Lab staff helps them apply learned techniques in solving practical problems. The library is a repository of texts and standard reference books.

Meticulous efforts are made by the teachers to activate the latent potential of the students, foster high moral values and strengthen their technological skills.

Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities carry on throughout the year. This year witnessed many activities, including Annual Faculty Dinner, Prize Distribution Ceremony for Position Holders Qir'at & Na'at Competition, Umra Draw, Quiz Competition, Training Workshop & Seminars, Excursion Trips, Welcome Parties and Annual Mazahiya Mushaira.
Students of PCS Multan have achieved stunning victories in sports at various levels. This year, it bagged Overall Sports General Trophy 2009-10 of BISE Multan.

It has now been seven years since PCS students first appeared in Intermediate examinations. Since then, almost all top positions in BISE Multan are being secured by our students.
In the year 2009, M. Kumail Haider bagged first position in Pre-Engineering Group (Boys). In Pre-Medical Group (Boys), Hafiz M. Kaleemullah  got third position.

An efficient infrastructure combined with an enlightened faculty has made PCS Multan a true leader amongst science institutions in the area.
