About PCS Islamabad

Bertrand Russel, the giant thinker of the 20th Century, once said that the people, who lag behind in keeping their pace with the pace of Science and Technology, find it difficult to survive. If living in the 21st century is living in material comforts, it also, at the same time, poses innumerable challenges that can be successfully met with only by those who continue fathoming depths of the world of Science and Technology.

Punjab College is exerting its best to provide quality education with the sole objective to whet such breed of brains as have in them the potential to accept the leading roles assigned to them in future. Punjab College of Science is housed in an impressive premises located in Sector F-8 which is not only a prime sector of the Capital but is also better known for the presence of educational institutions. The College is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad and offers Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, General Science and Computer Science classes at Intermediate level.

The building is purpose-built with air-conditioned classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, a fully equipped library, a reading room with a perennial influx of text books, reference books, scientific journals and leading national newspapers.

In addition to the academic activities, the College also offers excellent co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to provide the students opportunities to express and prove their talents in the fields of their choice and liking. The teaching faculty of the College comprises well-qualified and experienced teachers who, besides imparting instructions in their respective subjects, attempt to inculcate in the taught qualities of character and integrity that are so vital towards the grooming of round personalities.
