Growing demands of a flourished educational system had been evident in Gujrat since long. These growing demands of hardworking and ambitious students and their motivated parents knocked at the doors of Punjab Group. The management of Punjab Group of Colleges took a step further and established an institution at G.T. Road, Gujrat.

Punjab College Gujrat has made its mark in the field of co-curricular activities in the very first year of its establishment. The Gujrat Campus achieved 1st position in the Chief Minister Urdu Debates Competition (Degree) at District level and 1st prize in Bain-ul-Kulliati Mehfil-e-Mushaera and Urdu Debates. . Another 1st Prize in Iqbal Day Debates individualized Punjab College in its very first year. Victories came the way of Punjab College Gujrat in other Debates and Essay Writing Competitions at District and Division level.
Punjab College seeks to enhance all aspects of student life. Complying with this personality-grooming mission of the Group, Punjab College Gujrat has been holding a number of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities like Welcome Dinner, Na'at Competition, Mehfil-e-Mushaera, Musical Concert, Sports Gala (Boys), Cultural Mela and Bon Fire (Girls) and Exclusive Murree Tour separately for Boys and Girls.
