About PCC Bahawalpur

Bahawalpur, an oasis in Cholistan, marks the mid-point between Khyber and Karachi. The city possesses an array of glorious traditions. It has always been a seat of higher learning. The absence of quality education in the fields of commerce and science was felt by the educationists, parents and students. The motive to provide quality education at every doorstep became the reason for the inauguration of Punjab College Bahawalpur.

The College is ideally located in the posh area of Model Town. It is easily accessible from all corners of the city. The College is proud to provide the latest facilities for students and the teachers. The College also has the honor of having the best faculty in town. All classrooms are air-conditioned. A well-stocked library with photocopy facility is available for better learning.

The College is affiliated with Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education for its Intermediate programs whereas Islamia University Bahawalpur has provided affiliation for its degree programs. The College provides sports facilities, recreational tours and literary activities where students can groom their hidden talents. Being innovators, our objective is to provide a variety of scientists, economists and researchers responsive to national needs so that they can focus more on issues related to socioeconomic development of Southern Punjab. We are optimistic that it will not take us too long to achieve our objectives.
This year, one of our students, Saba Munawar,  was declared first in English Debate Competitions at District and 2nd at Division levels. Similarly, in Urdu Debate Competition, our student, Muhammad Amir Naeem bagged 2nd position at District level.

In sports, our student, Nauman Ayyaz won the title of Best Athlete in Bahawalpur Board.  Similarly, Faisal Iqbal, was chosen as the Captain of Pakistan under-19 Football Team.
