Sahiwal is one of the prominent cities of Southern Punjab, at a distance of about 180 kilometers from Lahore. It is the biggest city between Lahore and Multan. The soil of this area is very fertile. The principal crops of the area are sugarcane, wheat, cotton, corn, legumes and oil seeds. Sahiwal is twinned with the town of Rochdale in the Greater Manchester, north of England.
Sahiwal is a thickly populated city and there were growing demands of the hardworking students and their motivated parents for the establishment of an institution to impart quality education in science and commerce.
