PUNJAB COLLEGES
ISLAMABAD

Islamabad is known for its natural beauty. Being the capital of Pakistan it enjoys a unique status. It differs from all other cities in different spheres. Its dazzling scenic beauty enthralls everybody. Soon after its growth into a cosmopolitan city, representative of subtle blend of exciting and glamorous cultures, its educational needs demanded building up such institutions as could meet the challenges of the modern era especially in the fields of Commerce, Trade and Science. Keeping all in view, the Punjab Group decided to set up its Islamabad Campus in 1994.

Today, after the lapse of over a decade, the College has earned for itself a dynamic reputation of setting an enviable standard of quality education.

By the grace of God, now we have different Campuses for Commerce and Science separately for boys and girls. These Campuses are located in the heart of the city from where people can have a breathtaking view of the scenic range of Margalla Hills.

All Campuses have the facility of air-conditioned classrooms suitably furnished to offer comfortable Physical conditions congenial to learning. Students are lucky to have the services of experienced faculty. These Campuses are equipped with the latest labs and libraries. Our main objective is to inculcate self-awareness, improve decision-making skills and develop analytical powers in the students.

The Colleges does not ignore the fact that co-curricular activities are an integral part of education. Ample opportunities are provided to the students to explore and then excel in their fields of interest.

The objective behind the practice and promotion of these activities is to inculcate in the students the higher values besides developing in them a sense of healthy competition.

Punjab Colleges Islamabad are affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and Punjab university. In FBISE Annual Examinations 2010 Mehr un Nisa, Atika Liaqat and Mehwish Ehsan bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in Commerce Group.

Punjab Colleges Islamabad have the distinction of winning the FBISE sports General trophy consecutively for three years in addition to remaining runners up in different games and sports on many occasions.
