Gujranwala is a famous industrial city of the country. The people of the city are very keen about education. They had to travel to Lahore for quality education. To provide the quality education at their door-step, the management of Punjab Group of Colleges established its first Campus in 1997.
Since then, the Colleges are increasing in number. We feel pride that Punjab Colleges Gujranwala offer Commerce and Science for boys and girls separately. They are affiliated with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Gujranwala and Punjab University, Lahore.

Mr. Hassan Mehmood lak secured 1st position in F.Sc (Pre-Medical) and Muhammad Danish got 3rd position in F.Sc (Pre-Engineering). Our Students attained record number of A+ grades in BISE, Gujranwala.
Muhammad Sarwar got 1st position in Punjab University B.Com Annual Examination 2010. In Intermediate Examination 2010, Umer Nasir got 1st position in Commerce Group (Boys) while Shahzad Zulfiqar secured 2nd position in the same Group. The girls were no exception. They also proved their class, Urooj Khawaja, Sehar Zulfiqar got 1ST and 2nd positions respectively in Commerce Group (Girls).
Umber Waseem topped F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) and got overall 2nd position in BISE, Gujranwala. Aneeza Sikandar and Ayesha Rehman got 2nd and 3rd positions. Rafia Saeed Butt got 1st position in F.Sc Pre-Engineering (Girls)while Uroosa Bilal Chaudhary Stood 2nd Iqra Akram notched the 1st position in General Science Group while Zaryab Arif stood 2nd Erum Shehzadi got 2nd position in B.Sc Examinations 2010.
Entry Test preparatory classes, another venture of Punjab Colleges was a huge success. As a result of these classes, 138 boys and girls got admission in different engineering colleges and universities only in the year 2010, where as the number of admissions in medical colleges and universities rose to 142 boys and girls; surely an achievement par-excellence.
Working on the system of Social Corporate Responsibility' Punjab College of Science trained one hundred selected post-graduates who wanted to join teaching profession. This one month course ended at a decent Certificate Awarding Ceremony.
Punjab Colleges have always won great name and fame in sports. During the session 2010-11 our Girls qualified for overall General Sports Trophy in BISE, Gujranwala.
Our boys continued with their tradition of excellence in sports. Out of 21 tournaments organized by BISE Gujranwala in 2010-11, they got 1st positions in 17 events and bagged Sports General Trophy 2010-11. They have been doing it for the last ten consecutive years. Our sportsmen secured first positions in Gujranwala District as well as division in Chief Minister's Cup 2010.
Chief Minsiter's essay writing and debate competition 2010 opened up another avenue for our students to prove their worth. Amir Nouroze got 1st position at degree level English Debates while Hafiz Mubashar Younas got 1st position at degree level Urdu Debates in Gujranwala division. In Chief Minister's Speech Competition Taimoor Nasir got 3rd position in Punjab.
Punjab Colleges arrange a variety of Programmes to explore and polish the talent of our youth. Co-curricular activities bring fun, colour and personal grooming to our students.
