Sheikhupura is an agricultural and industrial city of the Punjab and is situated slightly north-west of Lahore at a distance of about 45 Kilometers. The name of the city has been derived from the nickname of Emperor Jahangir, who was called as Sheikhu by his father Akbar the Great. Sheikhupura is not only an agricultural city but also has developed an industrial base. Major crops of this area are rice, wheat and sugarcane. There are a number of historical places in this city e.g. Sheikhupura Fort, Hiran Minar, Company Bagh, etc.

The college campus is spacious, purpose built and air-conditioned. Students have the facility of modern and fully equipped, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer laboratories.
