Bhalwal is one of the tehsils of district Sargodha, located in central Punjab. Bhalwal town is located on Gujrat – Phalia – Sargodha road at a distance of 30 km from Sargodha on its north. It is situated near motorway (M2) in the west at a distance of 11 km from Salam interchange. Bhalwal has also the facility of railway station and falls on Sargodha – Malikwal – Lalamusa section of Pakistan Railway. Lower Bhalwal Canal is passing on the northern side of the city at a distance of 3 km and serves as the main source of irrigation. The economy of the area is mainly based on agriculture, major crops being Wheat, Sugarcane and Citrus Fruits. Based on its citrus fruit products, it is called as “Califonia” of Pakistan. The largest employer being Noon Sugar Mills and Noorpur Dairies.
There was hardly an institution in this city imparting quality education in the field of commerce and science. Keeping in view the above referred concern of the local students, their parents and general public the management of Punjab Colleges decided to establish an institution to impart quality education to the young generation of this city. The college is housed in a purpose-built campus near Railway Pathak. The college campus comprises air conditioned class rooms and well equipped science and computer laboratories. Content-based animations in the subject of Math, Biology, Chemistry and Physics are employed for concept oriented learning. The faculty team comprises experienced and appropriately qualified professionals. The college is affiliated with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sargodha.
