Bahawalpur, an oasis in Cholistan, marks the mid-point between khyber and Karachi. The city possesses an array of glorious traditions. It has always been a seat of higher learning. The absence of quality education in the fields of Science and Commerce was felt by educationists, parents and students. The motive to provide quality education at every doorstep became the reason for the inauguration of Punjab Colleges Bahawalpur.

The Campuses are located in the posh area of Model Town. These are easily accessible from all corners of the city. We are proud to impart quality education to boys and girls separately in a sophisticated and modern environment. The campuses possess air-conditioned classrooms, well-stocked libraries and most modern computer and science labs. The colleges are affiliated with Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education for their Intermediate Programmes whereas Islamia University Bahawalpur has provided affiliation for the degree programmes.

All campuses provide sports facilities, recreational tours and literary activities where students can groom their hidden talent. Being innovators, our objective is to provide a variety of Scientists, economists and researchers responsive to national needs so that they can focus more on issues related to socio-economic development of Southern Punjab.

The year 2010 brought laurels for us when Ifra Ayesha topped the Pre-Engineering Group in BISE, Bahawalpur. Sundas Asif stood 2nd in Commerce Group, Amna Tehreem (pre-Engineering  Group) Usman Yaqoob (Commerce Group Boys, Shaneera Mahmood (Commerce Group Girls) and Sana Ishtiaq (General Science Group) secured 3rd positions in their respective groups.
